WASHINGTON EVENTS PRESENTS ~ A START UP FUNDRAISER PRODUCTION
in support of Art Therapy for Mental Health in Pontiac, Powered by The Art Experience
in partnership with
Launching Artists Beyond 248 (LAB248).
Studies have been proven that “Higher financial stress leads to poor financial decision-making, something that past studies have linked to poor financial literacy.” Fine tune your Financial Planning and get access to best practices along with some mental health care tips especially NOW, largely due to the stress of the pandemic and the skyrocketing cost of living.
The 2022 Theme is “Master Reset | Tuning Up the Life Success Engine within You!” This annually based conference’s goal is to provide attendees with up-to-date information about the status of Mental Health Resources in Pontiac, bring awareness to affordable therapy alternatives such as Art Therapy and help serve as a financial fiduciary fundraising source for Art Therapy Programs in Pontiac, Financial Literacy best practices and the Importance of Self Care.
TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED INCLUDE:
-
Losing Your Grip: How to Re-center, Re-gain and Rejoice in all life has to offer. A close look into mental health, resources for help and tools used to deal with, cope and solve problems.
-
Building Consumers Confidence: Changing the pessimistic mindset in economic health by teaching how strategic spending can boost areas regarding (1) the economy, (2) the labor market, and (3) their spending/financial position.
-
Challenging the ME DIET: Work Life balancing for the everyday person. Setting the boundaries of what you put into yourself, be it what you eat, drink, and think. How to speak to and treat yourself, and how to teach others, how to treat you.

“I’m a touring artist. I’m an artist that’s internationally known. I’m not just a local artist at this point in my career. I’m cognizant of the fact that what I do is beyond where it started. I’m trying to reach the apex of where I am now, but without turning my back on or dismissing what I’ve done before.” Read More.

Michel'le Toussant
Entertainment
AMERICAN R&B SINGER, VOCALIST
Michel'le, who is best-known for her iconic role in the early 90's R&B music industry with smash hits like "Something in My Heart" & "No More Lies," favored a very hip-hop-minded approach to R&B, and that isn't the least bit surprising when you take into consideration the company that she kept. The members of N.W.A. -- especially Dr. Dre and the late Eric "Eazy-E" Wright.
Arguably, the singer was ahead of her time. Before Mary J. Blige was exalted as the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul" -- and before the rise of Faith Evans and Lauryn Hill -- Michel'le was a young neo-soulstress who had strong ties to the hip-hop world.
